Form partnerships within and outside of the school to assist students succeed and achieve to their learning potential.
Our pursuit of excellence is based upon our ‘Explicit Improvement Agenda' which dictates everyday practice. Our' Explicit Improvement Agenda' is based on four main areas as demonstrated below.
While at school and in the community we expect our students to display the ‘Wilsonton High Way.’ Students can display the ‘Wilsonton High Way’ through their demonstration of our school expectations and values that are affectionately known as the 4V’s.
  • Respect
  • Resilience
  • Responsibility
  • Commitment
Wilsonton State High School works tirelessly to ensure that our students are as prepared as possible for their chosen vocation upon leaving school. As a school, we have many partnerships that can assist our students in their future.
Wilsonton State High School believes that ‘Everyday Counts’ when it comes to student learning.  We expect our students to attend school at least 92% of the time and have different programs in place to help our students achieve this goal. We understand that students are unable to attend for a variety of reasons and ask that these absences are explained through communication with our office staff.
Our school is well supported by our Parents and Citizens Association, and I encourage you to consider joining this important organisation. The Parents and Citizens Association meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6.30pm in the conference room which is located in the Administration building. We not only welcome but also encourage parent involvement within our school.
I am proud of the school, our staff and our students of Wilsonton State High School. I welcome you to our school and look forward to developing a partnership that will ensure your students receive the best educational outcomes possible.
