School Sport
Wilsonton State High School offers an extensive range of extra-curricular sport opportunities for students to engage in. From Rugby League to Human Powered Vehicles, there really is something for everyone here at the school. Sporting teams will run most years for the following sports:
- Basketball
- Rugby League
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Human Powered Vehicles
There is also opportunity for students to engage in sports that are gradually increasing in interest from our students here such as Soccer, Futsal and Hockey. There is a significant number of other opportunities for students to engage in a range of other sports as well, as long as the school has the numbers to participate and there is a staff member able to attend, we'll give anything a crack.
Representative Sport
Students are also provided the opportunity to engage with Regional School Sport through trialling for Toowoomba Secondary School Sport and Darling Downs teams. This pathway is for students who excel in these sports and are looking to represent the Darling Downs at State Championships.
