Debbie Moody – Here Tuesday & Thursday, Deb offers individual student support, education, and more. She’s always up for a chat and there to assist teachers & students with health matters and concerns.
Industry Placement Officer
Kevin Flett- Kev’s role is everything work experience, apprenticeships, traineeships, and training. Kev meets regularly with employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and students. He helps with students setting up their USI numbers, career pathways, getting Resume’s organised and helping skill kids for their upcoming interview. Kev aims to help the child put their best foot forward when approaching employers and work situations for their long term success.
School Based Police Officer
Cath English – Cath is here Tuesday & Thursday and half of Friday. Cath does all things community Police, including QPS specific support for students and their families, awareness raising, education and investigations
Youth Support Worker
Kate Battistuzzi – Kate is here every day supporting students to improve levels of engagement and wellbeing. She is happy to meet students individually or in a group. Kate gets into classrooms and work directly with the kids. She tries her hardest to make them feel important, listened to and happier to be at school. Kate is running ‘Breakfast Club’ every morning out of the auditorium, so if you get a moment to come and introduce yourself.
Shane Adshead – Shane is here Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and helps case manage senior students at risk of disengagement/ cancellation/ homelessness. Shane runs social emotional programs like Rock & Water, Love Bites etc. He also does ‘Breakfast Club’ and ‘Drop in Zone’. Shane has loads of experience with ‘at risk’ youth
Janine Smith – Janine’s role is to support kids with very poor attendance (below about 70%). Janine works across multiple schools and is a great support for our families who are finding their child difficult to get to school. She has a wealth of knowledge of family supports in and around Toowoomba.
Community Education Counsellor
Bek Weier – Bek is our ATSI coordinator overseeing Beyond the Broncos and Clontarf Academy. She works tirelessly to close the gap. Bek assists parents keep their kids engaged and happy at school, she’s always up for a yarn.
